The ACS Pacesetters Achievement Awards
The ACS Pacesetters Achievement Awards Lunch took place on 22nd May, at Royal Windsor Racecourse with 200+ members, their staff, clients and guests in attendance.
The Approved Contract Scheme Pacesetters membership is made up of Contract Security Guarding Companies who are in the top 15% benchmarking and achievement levels set by the Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme.
There are currently approximately 860 Contract Security Guarding Companies who have achieved ACS accreditation therefore, it is very difficult for the buyers of security services to differentiate between them. The ACS Pacesetters places emphasis on the importance of the annual score, making the tender process for end-users very much simpler.
In restricting membership of the ACS Pacesetter to the top 15% of SIA approved security companies, approximately 130 companies are eligible to join. These companies, both national and regional, have proved they are market leaders in the security guarding industry and are therefore capable of providing an excellent standard of service to their clients and a high degree of care for their employees.
Each member company attending the Awards Lunch was presented with an ACS Pacesetters 2019 Award to recognise that they have achieved an SIA ACS score in the top 15% of all accredited companies.
Furthermore, the individual Security Officer of Distinction Award was also handed out at the lunch. The standard of nomination to receive one of these prestigious awards was exceptional this year and every frontline Security Officer is to be congratulated for their actions. All of the Officers nominated were of great credit to their company and included heroic actions putting their own lives at risk, arrests of dangerous criminals, saving lives and dealing with individuals with serious mental health problems.
Congratulations to the deserving winners of this award.
